Igendesign was founded by Daniel Lorincz and Alberto Vasquez. Which is based in Hungary. They study industrial design at Budapest University of Technology and Economics and at he Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest.. Igendesign created what they call "Flow", which they want to become a public light for Third World countries. It operates on the principle of vertical wind. The lamp is made out of bamboo, wires and LED lighting and it is fully recyclable. The Bamboo is cut in half and the lamp is inserted. The bamboo is cut at an angle so the light is pointed downward. Due to the spiral form, the lamp can hold the wind from every direction and create different lighting effects. The idea of Flow is to create lighting on the shores of oceans because there is very little lighting at night, which makes it dangerous. Bamboo is one of the cheapest to produce and is eco friendly.
